YES, I GOT MARRIED!

In September of 1986, just two years after the diagnosis, I met my husband at church.  We were married in May of 1987.

 

After thinking thoughts that I would never marry again, thinking that no one would want me with this disease,  God had a different plan.  He provided a husband for me, a father for my son and the opportunity to be step-mom for my husband's son. 

 

My husband had a strong faith and was much more informed about God's plan for healing at that time.  He had no fear of this disease, nor hesitation of marrying me because of it. 

 

We just celebrated our 25th anniversary!!  And we Praise God for that!!
